The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will play a key role in ensuring financial sustainability, supporting decision-making, and strengthening financial capability across the organisation. Working closely with both the Finance Team and operational leaders, you will:
- Provide accurate and timely financial insights to senior stakeholders
- Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and risks, driving informed decision-making
- Optimise financial systems, processes, and controls for efficiency and accuracy
- Coach and educate non-financial managers to enhance financial understanding and accountability
What We are Looking For
We are after a proactive, solutions-focused financial professional with a strong commercial mindset and the ability to partner effectively across all levels of the organisation. Our ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years' experience in financial and management accounting within a medium to large organisation
- Strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis to drive strategic decision-making
- Proven ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders
- Experience coaching and mentoring managers to improve financial literacy and decision-making
- A track record of optimising financial processes and controls to enhance efficiency and compliance
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships
- Knowledge of the education or not-for-profit sector (advantageous but not essential)

We are looking for someone who is customer centric, professional, self-motivated and has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
