About the Role
As Programme Manager, you will oversee the planning, integration, delivery, and disruption response for key infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with Hutt City Council's strategic objectives. You will collaborate closely with multiple Project Managers to coordinate resources, manage risks, and drive successful outcomes for key initiatives such as Te Wai Takamori o Te Awa Kairangi (RiverLink Programme), City Link Bridge, Streetscape Improvements, and the Infrastructure Acceleration Fund.
This role requires strong leadership to ensure project cohesion, facilitate stakeholder engagement, manage disruption responses, and provide regular reporting to governance groups. With a focus on continuous improvement, stakeholder management, financial management, and risk mitigation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the city's future by integrating and delivering high-quality, impactful projects.
About You
- We are looking for a highly motivated leader with:
- 5+ years' experience managing large-scale or complex programmes
- A formal PPM certification (e.g., MoP, MSP, Prince2, PMP, Agile)
- Proven stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong expertise in financial and contract management
- Experience in local or central government (advantageous)
