We are seeking a skilled and professional Finance Manager for a growing family-owned business based in New Zealand, with an Australian branch. This is a part-time position offering 25-30 hours per week, with flexible working hours to accommodate each individual’s schedule.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in the following areas of responsibility:
Expertise in Xero accounting and Xero Payroll for both New Zealand and Australia.
In-depth knowledge of business obligations with the New Zealand Inland Revenue Department (IRD), including GST and Payroll Tax.
Strong understanding of Australian Payroll Law, Payroll Tax, and BAS Returns.
Experience managing Foreign Exchange transactions, both incoming and outgoing.
Ability to oversee Accounts Payable processes and resolve supplier queries efficiently.
Willingness to assist with customer service, reception duties, and general inquiries.
Capability to provide timely weekly and monthly financial reports to the Directors.
Experience in collaborating with external accountants to ensure accurate financial management.
