Our Early Education Centre is grounded in the Reggio Emilia philosophy, fostering children’s innate curiosity, ensuring vibrant and enriching learning experiences. Embracing this philosophy we value collaboration, communication, and respect, fostering a sense of community and empowering children to be active participants in their learning. Our early education centre features six classrooms specifically designed for different age groups, fostering Tuakana/teina relationships and engaged tamariki. Our focus at Busy Bees Hobsonville lies in empowering tamariki to direct their own learning while ensuring they feel supported and safe.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Huge reserves of enthusiasm and energy
- Competency in planning, curriculum and regular and emergent reviews
- A personality that builds and develops strong relationships with staff and parents/whanau
- An ECE or Primary teacher qualification and registration as an ECE teacher in New Zealand
- A nurturing, caring disposition, and passion for supporting young children to thrive
- The ability to build and maintain responsive relationships with children and their whanau
- Excellent communication skills
