We have a Used Vehicle Sales Consultant opportunity in our high-performing Sales team at North Western Toyota. This Toyota store is part of an automotive group that has proudly been serving Auckland's North Western and North Shore regions for over 30 years. With around 170 staff, our brands include Toyota, Lexus, and Bridgestone across five different dealerships. The job
If you're passionate about vehicles, confident in building strong customer relationships, and motivated by success, this is the opportunity for you. In this role your key responsibilities would be:
- Engaging with customers to understand their vehicle preferences and match them with the right solution
- Presenting and demonstrating Toyota vehicles, clearly highlighting their features and advantages
- Managing the full sales process from initial inquiry to vehicle delivery and after-sales follow-up
- Liaising with the finance team to structure tailored financing options
- Keeping up-to-date with Toyota products, technologies, and market trends
- Working towards and exceeding personal and team sales targets
- Providing a high standard of service and build long-lasting customer relationships
Requirements
While previous vehicle sales experience is not essential, we're looking for someone with unstoppable drive, a strong work ethic, and the determination to do whatever it takes to close the deal. An interest in social media, content creation, or personal branding is a bonus - we value team members who know how to connect with people both in person and online.
In addition, the following are requirements for this role:
- NZ citizen, permanent resident or resident
- Good computer skills and competency using CRM
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of emerging global automotive trends
- High standard of English
- Self-driven and goal-oriented, with a proactive sales approach
- A team player mindset and you thrive in a fast-paced environment
- A solution, not problems, kind of attitude
- Integrity to always do right by the customer and colleagues
- Professional presentation
