What You'll Be Doing | Mō te Tūranga
This Accounts Payable Administrator role will see you providing administrative support to our Roadservice Contractor team. You will be responsible for processing contractor claim forms, reviewing and managing emails and invoices, ensuring payments align with contract agreements, and identifying and recovering any overpayments. You will also verify that rates charged match agreed schedules, track discrepancies related to cancelled jobs, and review contractor performance for cost recovery. Additionally, you will maintain accurate filing systems, reconcile payments, act as a key point of contact between contractors and Head Office, and assist with resolving queries to prevent future issues. Monthly reports on contractor costs and performance will be compiled, and you will support the maintenance of databases and other ad-hoc projects.
About You | Mōu
You’ll have previous experience in accounts payable/receivable and a relevant tertiary qualification or work-related education. You’ll also need to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. You’ll be familiar with accounting procedures and have experience working with a large customer base, showcasing proven problem-solving, planning, and organizational abilities. Intermediate proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel is required, and you should be comfortable working with these tools on a daily basis.
