Senior Analyst - Market & Liquidity Risk Oversight.
In this role you will be part of a specialist team providing independent, timely and sound market risk analysis to the businesses and management.
Reporting to the Senior Manager Market and Liquidity Risk, this role is responsible for governance and oversight for the relevant policies and standards, controls and processes that are aimed at detecting and remediating weaknesses and promoting a strong risk culture through constructive review and challenge.

If you have excellent numerical and analytical skills and a keen interest in financial markets, this may be an exciting role for you. A degree qualification in Finance, Business Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or similar is essential. The following attributes will also ensure your success in the role:
- Knowledge of banking, financial markets and products.
- Quantitative modelling skills, ideally with an understanding of derivative pricing and valuation methods.
- An ability to understand different risk management frameworks, principles, techniques, and philosophies using simple and concise terminology.
- Very high level of numeracy and attention to detail.
- A creative and innovative attitude to resolving problems and developing new processes and procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including report writing capabilities, presentation skills and the ability to explain complicated concepts in a simple, non-technical way.
- Strong Excel and data manipulation skills, such as VBA, C++, Python or SQL programming skills is required.
This role would be a perfect opportunity someone with a quantitative background or someone with 3+ years relevant Financial Risk (credit, market or liquidity) experience gained in either a Line 1 or Line 2 risk management role/analyst role.
