We have a permanent role to fill as a People Data Analyst within the People Analytics team.
Te Tūranga | The Role:
This role would suit a 'budding' analyst keen and driven to develop their career at ASB with some experience under their belt working with data in a large organisation.
HR data is preferrable; however, we are open to other data experience - what is important is you are curious and like to delve into the numbers to tell the story behind them!
In this role you will provide analytical and operational support in all elements of people related data, with a strong emphasis on remuneration, by proving analytical and modelling support in the preparation of papers and presentations and all regulatory reporting.
Key areas of responsibility in this role include:
- Ensuring accurate analysis and reporting.
- Quality reports and external market insights.
- Assisting in ensuring a seamless end of year performance and remuneration process, including insights and continuous improvement of processes.
- Timely submissions of external remuneration surveys.

- A can-do attitude and a drive to learn.
- Experience in large data, analysis, and reporting.
- Advanced skills in Excel and other analytical tools and applications, such as PowerBI and Tableau.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge and experience with HRIS systems an advantage. SAP SuccessFactors and Payglobal a plus.
- Strong communication skills.
- A genuine customer service focus, ability to work to deadlines.
- Self-starter, with a continuous improvement mindset.
- A tertiary qualification in HR or a business-related discipline.
- Experience as an Analyst (HR, Finance or Data).
