Are you a Class 5 driver with spreading and transporting heavy machinery experience? Tracks, based in Whakatane, is looking for you! We are a dynamic and growing company, committed to delivering top-notch civil construction solutions across Eastern Bay of Plenty.

Position: Class 5 Driver
Location: Whakatane, New Zealand

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate Class 5 vehicles.
  • Execute spreading operations efficiently and accurately.
  • Transport heavy machinery adhering to all safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Load and unload machinery with precision and care.
  • Conduct pre-start vehicle checks and ensure vehicles are maintained in excellent condition.
  • Keep the vehicle in a clean and tidy condition at all times.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and comply with company policies and safety procedures.
  • Perform site hazard assessments and implement control measures as required.


Skills & Experience:

  • Valid Class 5 driver's licence with proven experience in spreading and transporting heavy machinery.
  • Wheels, Tracks, and Rollers (WTR) endorsement.
  • BESS qualification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of traffic and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa/permit.
