PhotoLife Studios is New Zealand's Leading School Photographers.

As our Database Administrator you will be tasked with liaising with schools to obtain and coordinate student data that interfaces with our photographic software to ensure the smooth running of each photo day.

Your ability to be accurate and take pride in doing a job well with a "no mistakes" attitude is vital in this key role. You will need to be highly organised, efficient in managing your workflow, have excellent attention to detail together with a warm, helpful customer service attitude.

What you'll be doing:

  • Liaising with schools to obtain their student data in a format that will interface with requirements of PhotoLife systems, download, process the data and import into our Job Files ready for the schools' Photo Day.
  • On a weekly basis - dispatch to photographers the correct files for their photographic takes in the upcoming week and at the same time processing and printing materials ready to be sent directly to school for Photo Day.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation within our CRM for all school contacts.
  • Support office team with ad-hoc administrative and operational tasks as required.


You must have the following proven skills:

  • Solid Computer & Excel experience is a must.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy across all tasks.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.


This is a permanent full-time role based in Auckland, however as we follow the school calendar, there may be options for leave over school holidays and the summer season.
