About the business

Bayleys is New Zealand's largest commercial and industrial real estate agency. It's the only significant national real estate business in this sector that is Kiwi owned and operated. The Bayleys Residential Kapiti team consist of 5 residential agents and 2 commercial agents.

With one of our administrators is going on leave for approx. 7 months, we are seeking temporary cover during this time, starting from late June. The role is part-time, working 5 hours per day (20 hours per week) Tuesday to Friday.

About the role

We are looking for a bubbly, reliable and hardworking administrator.

The tasks include providing support to the sales team members, preparing agreements, producing marketing components of the business and much more.

The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritising. They will be self-motivated and trustworthy.

Skills and experience:

  • excellent time management skills
  • attention to detail
  • be flexible
  • Photoshop or photo editing skills - InDesign would be an advantage
  • a team player with high level of dedication
  • ability to work under strict deadlines
  • able to confidently communicate at all levels
  • meet given deadlines; prioritise their workload and work unsupervised
  • demonstrate a high level of accuracy in their output and attention to detail (formatting, spelling, grammar etc.)
  • competently use Adobe software (PDF writer, image manipulation), Internet and Intranet systems, a relational database (Access or similar product)
  • excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to correct and/or improve copy
