Our Electrical Distribution team currently have an opening for a Distribution Line Mechanic to join the overhead crew join our team in Hamilton region.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a full-time, permanent position based at our Hamilton depot working 40 hours per/week from 7am – 3:30pmwith the potential to earn significant overtime during busy periods. Car pooling and a shared company vehicle to commute to site provided along with a mobile phone. Wage base rate is dependent on experience ranging from $36.00per/hour - $42.00per/hour + overt time (OT).
Key Deliverables
Pole erection
Overhead line construction and maintenance
Underground cable laying and maintenance
Maintenance of equipment
Work site management and participation.
What you need
Distribution Line Mechanic Electrical Registration (full, provisional, or limited) from the Electrical Workers Registration Board' (EWRB)
Minimum 3 years experience working on distribution LV line work
Certificate IV in Electricity Supply Distribution (Advantageous)
Proven practical experience on electrical distribution networks
