About the Role
As our Brand Communications & Operations Development Lead, you'll be a key player in shaping the narrative and operational efficiency of our exciting non-alcoholic beverage brands, starting with Anthea. You'll bridge the gap between creative communication strategies and the practical execution needed to bring our brands to life. This is a hands-on role with significant opportunity for growth and influence within a dynamic startup environment.
The role has become vacant because the current person who has done a fantastic job in this role, is taking time out to travel internationally.
The Role Will Involve
Developing and executing integrated marketing communications plans for our brands, focusing on digital and social media strategies. βοΈ
Managing brand assets, ensuring consistency across all platforms. ποΈ
Day to day responsibility for customer service, order fulfillment and care of our inventory.
Collaborating with the wider team to ensure smooth operational processes related to marketing and communications. π€
Contributing to the development and implementation of innovative marketing campaigns.π‘
Monitoring and analyzing campaign performance, providing data-driven insights for optimization. π
Supporting the development of new product launches and brand extensions. π
Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including media, influencers, and customers. π£οΈ
Contributing to the overall operational efficiency of the marketing and communications function. βοΈ
The Journey
A professional handover period from our current person will prepare you with all the knowledge and skills to confidently take the reins.
You will start out learning and taking responsibility for our day to day customer service, distribution and order fulfillment - It's the stuff of a real business and an essential commercial grounding. This will occupy 30% - 40% of your time initially. This will require you to operate a fork lift. It's fun and something we will train and qualify you in.
The rest of your time will be operating and developing our brand communications for the current businesses, (CH'I and Anthea) and contributing to our start-ups in the pipeline. First up is a significant digital platform rebuild, and social strategy plan..
With the growth in business your work will deliver, and an expanding work team, the role will become full time focused on brand, innovations and communications.

Skills, Qualifications, Experience & Attitude
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in brand communications and marketing,
Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media strategies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with project management and operational processes is a plus.
Able to take a photo? Shoot and edit a reel?
Able to look beyond New Zealand as the opportunity.
Willing to multi task, and step into team work not part of your normal day job.
Able to professionally represent the business and brands in face to face contact with customer, partners and consumers.
