About the role | He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga
Are you a dynamic and empathetic person passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and making a difference? Geneva is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team, providing high-quality support for ACC-funded allied health services under the Sensitive Claims Service.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Seamlessly manage incoming referrals and ensure a smooth process for clients and referrers.
- Collaborate with our allied health team to allocate referrals to the right clinicians or partners.
- Keep all stakeholders informed and maintain up-to-date referral information in our database.
- thoroughly screen referrals and identify any inconsistencies that require further clarification
- Liaise and escalate any capacity issues with the Clinical Lead for Sensitive Claims.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity pertaining to client information to maintain privacy.
- Provide quotes for private referrals/new funders requiring professional rehabilitation services.
- Receiving completed reports, reviewing for administrative completeness and saving to team database.
- Point of contact for accounts and therapists for ACC rejections and resolving unpaid invoices
This is a permanent full-time position (40 hours per week) Monday to Friday based in Auckland.
What you will bring | Ngā tohungatanga mō tēnei tūranga
- Experience in a similar role or the Health Sector, in particular working with clients who have experienced trauma.
- Demonstrate high resilience and maintain professionalism while handling sensitive information from clients.
- Excellent computer skills, including accurate fast typing skills.
- Sensitive to client needs and the need to maintain privacy.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Professional presentation and excellent customer service skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft programs and a Patient Management System or CRM software.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Well organised and goal-driven with a high level of integrity.
- An understanding of the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi and how these can be applied.
