The Waiter Administrative Support is a multifaceted role that combines operational with strong administrative capabilities. This position requires not only leadership and customer service skills but also combines front-of-house service with key administrative responsibilities, requiring both exceptional customer interaction skills and organizational capabilities. The ideal candidate will seamlessly transition between serving guests and supporting restaurant operations behind the scenes
This is a full-time role in a restaurant open 7 days a week, with working hours ranging from 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Please note that there is a busy catering season from October to April.
The pay rate will be between $25 and $28 per hour, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
● Welcome customers with a friendly attitude and escort them to their tables.
● Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other waitstaff for smooth service.
● Assist in managing the restaurant’s daily activities, including opening and closing procedures.
● Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback to maintain high satisfaction levels.
● Assist in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting
● Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of point-of-sale (POS) systems and other technology.
● You must be willing to work both in the busy restaurant kitchen and at off-site catering events in our region.
● Ensure the restaurant is kept clean and tidy.
● Maintain and keep clean restaurant equipment, tables, crockery, cutlery and utensils.
● Ensure all food, beverage and non-consumables are accounted for and charged for.
● Maintain a high standard of table service, using established food handling and serving techniques.

● Ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
● Familiarity with restaurant management software systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
● Strong understanding of financial principles and budgeting.
