The Company:

A growing local North Island business is growing and seeking to hire a experienced Aluminium Workshop Forman. This company specialises across both commercial and residential and upholds a strong culture from the workshop team out to the installation team.

Role Overview:

As an Aluminium Forman, you will oversee a team of tradespeople and ensure all aluminium-related projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard. You will be responsible for managing daily operations on-site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining quality control throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of ten to fifteen aluminium fabricators and installers
  • Ensure adherence to project specifications, timelines, and budgets
  • Monitor and maintain safety standards on-site
  • Inspect and assess completed work for quality assurance
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to resolve issues and improve processes
  • Maintain accurate records of work progress and materials
  • Ensure all team members are well-trained and adhere to best practices in aluminium fabrication


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in aluminium fabrication and installation
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of safety protocols and construction site regulations
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
