RPC Logistics is a family-owned business established in 1984. From our service hub in Mangere Bridge, we provide our customers with a variety of services, including managed warehousing/3PL logistics and transport services including Hiab services to a range of industries.

An opportunity has recently become available for a Class 5 / Hiab Truck Driver - Auckland Metro to join our close-knit team.

In this role, we are looking for:

• An experienced Hiab operator to drive our 8 wheel Hino Hiab truck (85-90% of your work is dedicated to the Hiab services, delivering and doing onsite lifts)
• Someone that understands the need to do things properly, and not cut corners
• Flexibility to drive hiabs and curtain siders is necessary. Hiab will be the majority of your work, but there are times when we do need you to drive other trucks in our fleet. The more flexible you are, the more value you add to our team
• Truck and Trailer skills are necessary

It is important that you can demonstrate:

• A strong knowledge in this industry and experience driving a Hiab
• The ability to think on your feet and take the lead
• Flexibility and able to work with your team and others
• A strong and reliable work ethic
• The ability to work in a busy team environment
• A good level of physical fitness
• Commitment to a long term career

This is a full time position working 7:00am - 5:30pm - 5 days per week and some weekends.

We offer attractive hourly rates and discretionary bonuses where appropriate.

We are a team of 25, split across our warehouse and transport business. While we are small, we are diverse, and we want our team to learn as much as they can to grow within our business.
