McMillan Drilling Ltd have a full time opportunity for a DrillersAssistant to join their team based in Southbridge, Selwyn.
As a Drillers Assistant or Labourer, you can gain practical skills and experience while working with a leading and well-established drilling company.
To be considered you must hold a Class 1 Full driver's licence. A Class 2 licence and / or experience in construction or roading is an advantage, but not essential.
We are willing to help you to achieve:
Vehicle licences - including heavy machinery
Welding skills
Non-Hydrocarbon Drilling Certificate - through Mito
Registration as a Driller with NZDF
This is an excellent opportunity for those who enjoy working outdoors, travelling to different job sites, and are interested in drilling and investigating sub ground conditions.
Preference will be given to local candidates however return transport is available from Hornby, Christchurch to site each day. Hours are Monday - Friday, 7am - 5pm.
