Job Description:
Part-Time Office Manager or Senior Administrator super star wanted to join our established and reputable client in Mt Maunganui. Please note this is a temporary contract and may offer permanent opportunities down the track should a position arise for the right incumbent
Working 20 hours per week, you will be a part-time superstar to support our clients busy Directors to help ensure the day-to-day operations of the business run smoothly and efficiently. Currently a diverse team of around 15 staff, this role is perfect for someone who thrives on being the go-to person, loves improving systems, and brings a can-do, no-fuss attitude to everything they do.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, autonomous position. you will play a key part in keeping things ticking, from general office administration to supporting sales and customer service, and making suggestions to streamline and improve our current systems.
It will suit someone who will take ownership, bring fresh ideas, and genuinely care about the success of the business and the people in it.
Key Responsibilities
- Sole charge office and administrative management whilst supporting the Directors with business operations
- Managing and maintaining the MYOB accounting system
- Debtor and creditor management
- Weekly Payroll, wage payments and reporting
- Customer service and sales support
- Reviewing and improving current processes to boost efficiency as required
This Role is For Someone Who:
- Has 5+ years' proven experience in a senior office admin or office management role
- Is a natural problem solver with a proactive approach
- Has previous experience with MYOB (a must )
- Picks up new systems and software with ease
- Has advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Is exceptionally organised, with strong time management and the ability to juggle multiple tasks, is detail orientated
- Is well presented, with impeccable written and verbal English communication skills
- is team-oriented, kind, down-to-earth and known for being the calm in the chaos, never missing a beat.
- Has a positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
- Can demonstrate a solid work history that reflects these qualities.

You must be:
Eligible to work in New Zealand, have a clean criminal back ground, strong attendance record in your work history, and the successful applicants will undergo drug and alcohol testing and ACC checks. A full car licence is also required.
