At Compass Group we partner with Strata Lounge, as one team, to create an incomparable lounge experience that people value and remember. Strata lounge form a vital element of the customer's experience as a haven in which relax from the stresses and challenges experienced during travel. We're now looking for four exceptional Duty Managers to join our team at Strata Lounge in Auckland Airport. This is a Permanent Full time position rostered across 7 days of the week.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

  • Supervising and participating in a team that "surprises and delights" our valued clientele while providing warm and professional customer service,
  • Maintaining the operational upkeep of the Strata lounge and having superior customer service at the forefront of everything the position does.
  • The Duty Manager must ensure that all tasks associated with food service, beverage services and general customer service are performed with due regard for all Health and Safety and Food Safety regulations as required.
  • All these tasks must be done in conjunction with the contractual requirements of the Unit.
  • Adhere to health, safety and security procedures

  • Ensure a proactive, resourceful and can do attitude is used at all times when supervising the lounge operations
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with a positive attitude and in a way that advocates/supports both Strata and Compass Group
  • Display a "duty of care' for yourself and other employees in providing a safe working environment
  • Having the General Managers Certificate (Liquor Service) & NZQA Food Handling Certificate (Units 167 & 168) are preferable
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a must
