As a Supervised Contact Facilitator, you will provide supervision with parents and children where the Court has deemed that contact between the adult and the child must be supervised. All training will be provided. You will need a reliable car so you can get to the visits which will be held in a child-friendly location such as a park, or other activity. You will complete a brief report after each visit using our template. Visits run between 2 and 4 hours but generally most visits are 2 hours with some clients having 3 hour visits. Visits are generally weekly, or fortnightly, with some monthly clients. You are required to liaise between parties and set up visits each week providing some consistency. This is both an interesting and rewarding role where you are working alongside families in the community. Ideally you will have experience with children.
