Forklift Operators

We currently looking for experienced forklift operators. Previous kiwifruit experience would be an advantage but is not essential.

The duties during main pack, will include dayshift or nightshift forklift driving, this will include loading and unloading of bins from trucks and moving them into our precooler. There will also be forklift driving in our cool stores, where pallets of kiwifruit are kept in a racking system before export. Export will include loading trucks and containers with palletised fruit.
We are looking for staff who possess the following skills/attributes:

  • minimum 1 +years’ experience with current forklift licence
  • Good communication skills
  • The flexibility to work varied hours, day and night roles available
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • A team player
  • Safety conscious
