Job Description

Our client based in Manukau is currently looking for a Class 2 DG Operator to pick and drop off Portaloo’s throughout Auckland. On top of that, you will also need to assist the yard team in cleaning the dirty Portaloo’s. Will be working Monday to Friday with weekly pay, providing financial stability.

Requirements:

  • Must have a Full Class 1 and 2 NZ Driver’s License
  • Dangerous Goods (DG/D) endorsement is a must
  • Must have previous experience driving and servicing clean and dirty portaloo's
  • Needs to have reliable transport to get to and from work
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in operating class 2 trucks (New Zealand Experience)
  • No prior or pending convictions (Clean MOJ)
  • Ability to pass all preemployment checks, including a drug test
  • Good literacy
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Needs to be reliable and honest
  • Good communication skills
  • Great attention to detail


Responsibilities:

  • Operating a Class 2 Truck to both service and transport dirty/clean Portaloo’s
  • 2-3 month temporary assignment
  • Driving throughout Auckland safely and within NZ Transport regulations
  • Keeping accurate records, completing run sheets of jobs done and any site access issues
  • Assisting yard team to clean dirty Portaloo’s onsite
