At Compass Group we have partnered with Qantas as one team to create an incomparable lounge experience that people value and remember. We have an exciting opportunity for exceptional Lounge Assistants to join our team within our Qantas Lounge at Auckland Airport Operations on a Permanent Full time basis, working 30 hours per week.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and clearing tables
  • Keeping the buffet tables clean
  • Some dishwashing duties when needed
  • Some kitchen work when needed


He kōrero mōu / About you:

  • Be hard-working, reliable, and flexible in your ability to work
  • Having a friendly, outgoing personality
  • Must be able to lift 20kg weight
  • Have excellent communication skills and a 'can do' attitude.
  • Having experience working in a similar position within a 5-star environment will be an added advantage
  • Hold food safety Unit Standards 167 and 168 would be an added advantage
  • Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate a passion for people, customer service, and quality
