Job Description

Our client is seeking a senior associate to join their litigation team in Wellington. This position provides a broad range of legal services for its business and personal clients, where no two days will be the same.

Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role

You will work across a wide range of areas but will also have the opportunity to specialise in areas that are of interest to you. This work will include but not be limited to civil and commercial litigation work, such as insolvency, product disputes, franchising/licensing, defamation, health and safety defence, regulatory defence and estates litigation.

There is on-going professional development available here as well as a genuine care for your life outside of work with flexible working options.

Mōhou ake | About you

  • At least 7 years’ litigation post-admission experience;
  • Natural at building rapport with new clients, and helping them to achieve their goals;
  • Business minded with good business acumen;
  • A self-starter that thrives on new experiences and opportunities and is flexible in their approach to work; and
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
