Join Our Dynamic Team as a Physiotherapist – Fixed Term Maternity Cover

We’re seeking a talented and motivated Physiotherapist to join our Auckland-based Work Solutions team for a fixed-term maternity cover, with the potential for a permanent role.

About the Role | He kōrero mō tēnei tūranga

As a Registered Physiotherapist, you’ll work in a vibrant, community-focused role, supporting a wide range of clients and contracts across Auckland. You will collaborate closely with clients, employers, and our Interdisciplinary Team (IDT), helping individuals achieve their vocational goals. You’ll have the opportunity to deliver hands-on physiotherapy, provide telehealth services, and engage in both community and workplace settings.

What we’re looking for | Ngā tohungatanga mō tēnei tūranga

The requirements for this role may vary based on whether you’re a New Zealand-based or overseas applicant. Here are the top five qualities we’re seeking:

  1. Physiotherapy Experience (2+ Years) – For overseas applicants or those returning to practice, proof of ongoing professional development is required.
  2. Community-Based Experience – Demonstrated ability to work with diverse clients autonomously, with vocational rehabilitation experience being a bonus.
  3. Knowledge of ACC/NZ Healthcare Systems – Familiarity with ACC is preferred, but quick learners are welcome.
  4. Strong Interpersonal and IT Skills – Telehealth proficiency is key in this role.
  5. Full and Valid NZ Driver’s License.

What You’ll Bring | Ōu pūkenga

  • 2+ years of experience as a NZ Registered Physiotherapist.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Vocational Rehab are advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
  • Ability to travel and work autonomously in the Auckland region.
  • Excellent communication skills and the desire to grow in your profession.
