This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced technician with small engines experience to join this workshop in Tauranga and work for an employer of choice.

The role
In this role you will be responsible for servicing and repairing a range of small engines, including lawnmowers, chainsaws, and other outdoor power equipment.

Duties will include:

  • Servicing
  • Repairs
  • Diagnostics
  • Replacing or repairing components as needed
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, air filter replacements, and tune-ups



Skills and experience required

  • Hold a relevant automotive trade qualification
  • Prior experience servicing and repairing small engines
  • Solid diagnostics and general problem solving skills
  • Good communication skills



In return
Tauranga is a coastal city in the Bay of Plenty Region and the fifth-most populous city of New Zealand making the location attractive for those looking for sunny days and no traffic. This role is a full time, permanent role offering a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Remuneration will reflect the level of your skills and training but will range between $34 and $38 per hour.
