The Role

They are looking for a senior environmental or civil engineer with 8yrs or more work experience. They are seeking a team member with experience in any of the following areas:

  • Asset management
  • Business cases and investment decision making
  • Planning, design and delivery of water supply, stormwater and / or wastewater infrastructure
  • Flood risk management
  • Water quality management


You will be responsible for leading project work, quality assurance and leading client relationships. They are actively delivering work in the areas listed below, but aim to expand this where they see demand or if you can bring new specialist skills to the team:

  • Project justifications / business cases for three waters infrastructure
  • Researching and developing new areas of water and flood risk management policy for local government
  • Development and review of stormwater reticulation and quality improvement schemes


About You

Senior environmental or civil engineer with 8yrs or more work experience

You must have a degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, a full driver’s licence and the legal right to work and live in New Zealand. You will also ideally be a Chartered Professional Engineer with Engineering New Zealand (this requirement is not mandatory, but is desirable).
