We are searching for a nurturing Registered Kaiako who is committed to making a real difference to our tamariki. This role is for our babies and toddler’s room so a love and passion for under 2’s is a must! As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive, caring environment where you can develop your skills and make a positive impact on the lives of young learners.

House of Wonder by Busy Bees is a unique, innovative space. Designed for children to explore and learn through their senses. The mauri (life force) of our centre supports rich language and gives children time and space to be curious, to enquire and make discoveries. Tamariki thrive where the natural environment meets their needs and enhances their ability too.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Huge reserves of enthusiasm and energy
  • Competency in planning, curriculum and regular and emergent reviews
  • A personality that builds and develops strong relationships with staff and parents/ whānau
  • An ECE or Primary teacher qualification and registration as an ECE teacher in New Zealand
  • A nurturing, caring disposition, and passion for supporting young children to thrive
  • The ability to build and maintain responsive relationships with children and their whānau
  • Excellent communication skills
