This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in advanced threat intelligence analysis and hunting techniques, taking a proactive approach to identify and prevent potential impacts to business and clinical data and operations. You will be instrumental in rapid response activity, acting as a key escalation point for analysts, and striving to minimise operational impacts.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst, you will hold a crucial role in protecting our client's system from evolving cyber threats. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include leading the development of national cyber defence strategies, implementing advanced threat hunting methodologies, and continuously improving national threat detection workflows. You will also design realistic threat simulations, conduct training exercises across the national cyber workforce, and lead technical investigations into security breaches and incidents.

  • Lead the development of national cyber defence strategies
  • Develop and implement advanced threat hunting methodologies
  • Responsible for continuous improvement of national threat detection workflows
  • Design threat simulations that reflect realistic events
  • Develop and conduct threat simulation exercises and training across the national cyber workforce
  • Lead technical investigations into security breaches and incidents


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst role will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge in Cyber Security. With at least 10 years of experience working in a Security Operations Centre and 5 years of hands-on technical experience dealing with major Cyber Incidents, you are well-equipped to handle any challenges this role may present. Your advanced experience with security tooling such as SIEM, EDR, and digital forensics tools like Kape, Hayabusa, Chainsaw etc., coupled with your ability to develop comprehensive incident reports, makes you an invaluable asset to our team.

  • Graduate and post-graduate degree in Cyber Security
  • Minimum 10 years working in a Security Operations Centre
  • Minimum 5 years 'hands on' technical experience dealing with major Cyber Incidents
  • Advanced experience with Security tooling such as SIEM, EDR
  • Advanced experience with Digital Forensics tools such as Kape, Hayabusa, Chainsaw etc.
  • Experience in developing comprehensive incident reports
