Kerry Drainage & Civil is one of Auckland's most experienced and capable infrastructure drainage contractors with long-term proven capability in undertaking and managing civil construction works in the Auckland region.

Due to a period of significant, exciting growth, we have the opportunity for a Directional Driller / Pipe Jacking to join our team based in Auckland.

As part of our Directional Drilling crew, you will be part of a wide variety of trenchless drainage jobs. You will undertake many duties, including but not limited to, setting up our drills, locating drive and operate a range of heavy machinery and complete general labouring to a high-standard, on time and in a safe manner as required to meet the needs of the business. Experience preferred but training can also be provided.

Your responsibilities include:

• Undertaking drain-laying duties, operate heavy machinery, and complete general laboring tasks to a high standard, on time, and in a safe manner.
• Understanding and practising Health and Safety procedures.
• Understanding and applying specifications and drawings as required on a specific project (especially all drainage work).

As the successful candidate, you will have:

• Ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to read and sketch plans.
• Understand and calculate levels and grades.
• Must hold at least a Class 1 & WTR license.
• Proven Health and Safety track record.
