Project Test Manager
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Test Manager to lead the testing efforts for a new warehouse automation project. This role involves overseeing the entire testing process, ensuring software quality, and managing a team of testers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks, with experience in both agile and waterfall project environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Testing: Design and implement comprehensive testing strategies for warehouse processes, including goods receiving, inventory management, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- System Integration Testing: Validate integration between Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and SAP ECC.
- Operational Workflow Validation: Ensure automated workflows meet business and operational requirements.
- Performance Assessment: Test automation equipment to meet warehouse throughput targets.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse managers, IT teams, and external vendors.
- Defect Identification and Resolution: Document and resolve operational defects or system issues.
- Documentation and Reporting: Create detailed test cases, defect reports, and status updates.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the testing team, fostering collaboration and effective communication.
Key Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as a Test Manager in end-to-end solution delivery.
- Specific Warehousing Experience: Proven experience in testing warehouse automation processes, including goods receiving, put-away, inventory management, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Experience in developing frameworks for testing activities.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and techniques, including unit, system, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Ability to influence change with a strategic approach.
- Knowledge of key business functions in the health/pharmacy or distribution industry.
- Experience with Agile and SDLC techniques.
