Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Policy Advisor to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work a Bill which is both priority and a significant piece of legislation that has garnered a sigificant amount of submissions.

The successful candidate will be part of a supportive team environment, with the primary task being raw analysis of these submissions. This includes reading, recording positions, capturing key points and recommendations, and applying judgement on approach to individual submissions. While this role is demanding, it also provides an excellent opportunity for professional growth in a dynamic policy environment.

What you'll do:

• Analyse raw submissions related to the Bill
• Record positions and capture key points and recommendations from submissions
• Apply judgement on approach to individual submissions
• Work collaboratively within a team environment
• Possibly provide advice as the departmental report begins to take shape
• Start immediately and contribute effectively from day one

What you bring:

• 1-2 years of experience in Policy Advisory or similar roles
• Proven ability to analyse complex information and draw meaningful conclusions
• Strong written communication skills for recording positions and capturing key points from submissions
• Ability to apply sound judgement when approaching individual submissions
• Experience working collaboratively within a team environment
