Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity
Our Energy And utilities business is seeking an experienced Cable jointer to join our team based in Paeroa. Reporting to the Supervisor, you will work across South Waikato on the Powerco contract.
You will be responsible for the provision of electrical cable jointing services including equipment repairs and installation of new network equipment on electricity distribution networks
Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills
- EWRB Cable Jointer registration/licence
- National Certificate in Electrical Supply NZQF Level 4 or equivalent qualification
- Current Class 1 driver’s licence (and Class 2 preferred)
- Sound knowledge of electrical test equipment, systems and procedures
- Electricity Industry experience
- Sound verbal and written communication skills
- Physical stamina to carry out manual work, often in trying conditions
