The Role:

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join their team based in Dargaville. In this role, you will be responsible for selling a range of agricultural products and solutions directly to farms across the region. You will build relationships with farmers, understand their unique needs, and provide tailored solutions to help improve their operations. If you are passionate about agriculture and have a talent for sales, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with farmers, offering products and services that meet their needs.
  • Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the farming community.
  • Present product demonstrations and technical information to customers, highlighting the benefits of our client’s solutions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and farming practices to offer informed advice and solutions.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall growth of the company.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure customer needs are met.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the agriculture or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of farming practices and agricultural products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your territory effectively.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to farms within the region.
