We are looking for a friendly, customer-focused Reservationist / Receptionist to join our team at Millennium Hotel Rotorua. As part of one of New Zealand's largest hotel operators, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our guests. Whether you're handling front desk duties, managing reservations, or resolving guest inquiries, you’ll be the face of our hotel, ensuring a memorable experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Front Desk & Reservations: Check in and check out guests, allocate rooms, and promote hotel facilities.
• Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by resolving billing queries, handling guest complaints, and managing their experience with professionalism and poise.
• Revenue Optimization: Engage with internal and external customers to maximize yield and occupancy using various booking channels.
• Cashiering: Handle daily cashiering duties with accuracy.
• Effective Communication: Maintain clear communication with both internal teams and guests.

Skills & Experience:

• Opera Experience: While familiarity with Opera is a distinct advantage, we will also consider reception experience from other systems.
• Customer Service: Strong communication skills and a natural ability to build rapport with guests.
• Sales-Oriented: Self-motivated with an ability to spot and seize revenue opportunities.
• Computer Skills: Proficient in managing multiple systems and accurate data entry.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
