Position:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Civil Operator to operate a variety of machinery on civil construction sites around Christchurch.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a variety of civil machinery, including excavators, loaders, and rollers.
Assist with site preparation, excavation, trenching, and other civil works tasks.
Ensure safe operation and maintenance of machinery.
Follow all site health and safety regulations.
Work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with supervisors and other team members.
Perform regular machine checks and report any issues to the supervisor.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

A valid Class 2 Driver's License.
WTR (Wheels, Tracks, Rollers) endorsement.
Proven experience operating civil machinery.
Strong understanding of health and safety standards.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Reliable, hardworking, and flexible with working hours when necessary.
Ability to work on stayaway and nightshifts when required

Desirable:

Previous experience in civil construction projects.
First Aid certification.
