84 Recruitment are working with a family-owned, rapidly growing business looking for skilled technicians to join their team. You'll work on a variety of commercial and industrial projects, from small retail outlets to large-scale fuel import and distribution facilities.

About the Role:
As an HVAC & Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems. You’ll work across diverse sites, ensuring equipment runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair faults in HVAC and refrigeration systems
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and servicing
  • Install new equipment and manage project work
  • Deliver top-tier customer service and technical support



What's required?

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in HVAC and refrigeration
  • NZQA Level 4 Qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
  • EST License (Electrical Service Technician)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol testing
  • Valid NZ driver’s license
