Job Description
Join our dynamic Field Services Team as a Level 2 Desktop Support Technician, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting our retail stores and office environments. This 3-month contract offers a unique opportunity to engage in exciting projects, including pop-up installations, new store launches, and system upgrades, with the potential to transition into a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-person technical support to retail store locations when remote solutions are not feasible.
- Engage in upcoming projects involving pop-up setups, new store openings, and technology upgrades.
- Deliver comprehensive support for Microsoft applications, Service Now, and Airwatch.
- Replace and upgrade equipment as needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with various teams within the organisation to deliver seamless technical solutions.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance team knowledge and capabilities.
- Offer support to the head office, assisting 150-200 users with application-based issues.
- Maintain a customer-focused approach, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Level 2 Desktop Support Technician or similar role.
- Strong technical skills, including hands-on experience with hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, Service Now, and Airwatch.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to various store locations (up to 1.5 hours from the main office).
- Mature, responsible, and adaptable individual eager to learn and train on new technologies.
