About the role

We're looking for qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanics with experience working on agricultural machinery to join our client's service teams across multiple regional branches in New Zealand.

You'll be responsible for diagnosing, servicing and repairing a range of modern tractors, harvesters, balers and construction machinery — both in the field and in the workshop. You’ll work with leading brands, using modern diagnostic tools and technology in a supportive, safety-first environment.

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 2 years’ hands-on experience as a heavy diesel mechanic — ideally with tractors, harvesters, or other AG machinery
• Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Engineering or Diesel Mechanics
• Ability to diagnose mechanical/electrical faults and complete component overhauls to manufacturer specifications
• Strong problem-solving skills, safety focus, and great communication
• Able to work independently in the field and collaborate with the team

Candidates already based in New Zealand will be given preference. However, we welcome expressions of interest from overseas applicants with relevant experience and a desire to relocate.
