About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent position (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday).

You will:

  • Lead and support a passionate team of educators
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and the community
  • Ensure compliance and uphold high standards in early childhood education
  • Foster a positive, collaborative team culture
  • Create an innovative and engaging learning environment


What We’re Looking For

We seek a confident, inspiring leader with:

  • A Bachelor of Education/Diploma in Teaching Level 7 (ECE) with current Teacher Certification
  • Strong knowledge of Te Whāriki, child-led learning, and ECE regulations
  • A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and inclusive teaching practices
  • A proactive and innovative mindset, always looking for ways to enhance learning and simplify processes
  • A passion for mentoring and growing others
