The Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
Attention all Registered Clinicians
We're looking for an experienced registered clinician (Social worker, Registered nurse, Occupational Therapist or Registered counsellor) to join our vibrant team that makes up the Real Youth Service in Rotorua. We work under a brief and early intervention framework, providing assessment, therapy, and support to young people and their whānau.
You will be involved in the provision of both individual and group therapy sessions running out of our office, local schools, and other community venues.
This a Fixed term, full-time role, working Monday- Friday, 8.30am- 5.00pm, in Rotorua.

The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:
- experience working in mental health.
- experience working alongside young adults
- an understanding of local community issues and of tikanga Māori.
- ability to develop and maintain internal and external key relationships.
- uphold the integrity and mana of both the taiohi and kaupapa.
- the ability to work independently and innovatively to engage young people/taiohi and whānau.
- an inspiring and enthusiastic outlook on life
- a current full NZ driver’s licence.
