About the Role: 

Whether you are a newly qualified teacher or an experienced educator, if you have a passion for teaching young children, we want to hear from you. This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week Monday-Friday.  

This position is based in our Tahuna and Manata Rooms. Our Tahuna tamariki are typically 6 months - 18 months, and we have a beautiful wooden nest area for these children to have a safe space to explore. This area is full of sensory experiences, and opportunities for our youngest tamariki to move and explore at their own pace. We have routines flowing smoothly through the day, with the team communicating effectively together to make sure all the children's needs are met.

Role requirements: 

Commit to making a difference in the lives of young learners with a team dedicated to excellence. We are looking for the following: 

B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current Teacher Certification 
Develop learning partnerships with families/whānau in order to make learning journeys visible and understood and supported
Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning and extending on our children's learning 
Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard 
A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices 
Role model our What We Stand For values. Inspiring, Mentoring, and Motivating others
Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality
