We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Office Junior to join our team in Christchurch.
This role involves supporting day-to-day office operations and assisting with financial tasks. While prior experience is not required, familiarity with Xero is a plus. The ideal candidate need to possess excellent communication and organisational skills and have a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee Xero for financial tasks.
- Handle accounts-related emails and phone calls.
- Monitor and code bills to the correct projects or jobs.
- Process monthly bill payments and perform payment reconciliations.
- Oversee payroll management and ensure timely payment entries.
- Complete account and company forms and manage credit control.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company finances and projects.
- Exhibit strong verbal and computer skills for daily communication.
You will need:
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional attitude.
- Familiarity with Xero is an advantage but not necessary.
