Madison has partnered with a trusted Kiwi business that has been delivering quality solutions to its partners across New Zealand for over 20 years. They are growing their team and looking for a customer service super star to join the overnight shift (11pm to 7am)

The role: Work in a fast-paced phone-based team taking inbound calls and offering a memorable experience to the customers you encounter.

Day to day you will be:

  • Actively listening to customer needs; providing them with effective solutions to queries
  • Updating customer details and using multiple databases and systems
  • Escalating calls to the appropriate internal teams and providing administrative assistance
  • Being an active team player, participating in team meetings and contributing towards the overall success of the business
  • Eliminating stress and providing certainty for customers during the call


The hours and location:

The offices are conveniently located in Penrose, walking distance to the Penrose train station. There is also free parking provided onsite.

Overnight shifts run from 11 PM to 7 AM, with a total of 40 hours per week scheduled between Monday and Sunday

Please note, you must be able to complete a portion of the training period during daytime hours.

Training and Career Development:

  • Your first few weeks will consist of well-structured training, and going forward you will be paired with highly experienced staff members and mentors for further support
  • Ongoing learning and development is offered – gain work experience in other areas, receive one-on-one coaching and feedback, attend in-house training sessions


To stand out from the rest, you will have:

  • Contact Centre experience or relevant office-based experience, Previous experience working graveyard shifts is preferred but not required
  • A passion for interacting and learning about people
  • A drive to deliver an exceptional customer experience in every interaction
  • Strong understanding of New Zealand geography and different regions
  • Effective communication, questioning, and listening skills
  • A great work ethic, a positive attitude, and contribute to the team
