The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Shift Leader to join our established warehouse team on a permanent basis. We’re seeking a motivated and experienced leader who has a passion for mentoring others and thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The main responsibilities of this role include..

• Supervise and motivate the warehouse teams, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure high performance and job satisfaction.
• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfilment, and shipping/receiving activities to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Identify areas for improvement in warehouse processes and implement best practices to enhance productivity and reduce errors.
• To ensure that the operations team has a solid training and performance plan to set them up for success. Coaching of operators to ensure knowledge in all warehouse tasks.
• Manage staff leave, covers, overtime, and roster changes.
• Ensure the warehouse and equipment are maintained.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this role will require …

Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a warehouse or logistics environment.

• Strong organizational abilities with a focus on optimizing workflow and efficiency.
• Ability to think critically and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and standard warehouse equipment.
• In-depth understanding of safety protocols and best practices in a warehouse setting.
