Job Description

  • Hourly rate: $30-$32 depending on experience
  • Minimum of 30 hours per week, to be worked between the hours of 6.00am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday
  • Waipapa location, in the sunny Bay of Islands

Are you skilled in operating forklifts and passionate about working in a dynamic environment? Waipapa Pine is on the lookout for a motivated and safety-conscious Forklift Driver to join our hardworking team!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts to transport and stack timber and materials safely.
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
  • Conduct daily machinery checks to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain a tidy, efficient work area.
  • Adhere to all health and safety protocols at all times.


What we’re looking for:

  • Valid forklift license
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ forklift experience
  • A proactive and can-do attitude
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on workplace safety
  • Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role
  • Previous experience in the timber or manufacturing industry is an advantage
