Job Description
THE OPPORTUNITY:
You'll execute our customer plan to acquire, grow, and retain listeners for NZME Audio and iHeartRadio. Design and execute data-driven, targeted campaigns through marketing automation platforms and digital channels. This role is both strategic and operational, requiring expertise in Braze and iHeart Direct Marketing functions to achieve KPIs.
HOW YOU'LL DO IT:
Acquisition:
- Drive prospect sign-ups, registrations, newsletter subscriptions, and data capture initiatives.
- Build onboarding journeys and automatic multichannel flows within the customer journey.
- Optimise conversion rates by ensuring a seamless journey from awareness to conversion.
Engagement:
- Develop and deliver end-to-end campaigns to deepen and broaden customer engagement for major Audio initiatives across iHeart, Podcasting, and NZME radio brands.
- Optimise direct digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including email, mobile notifications, in-product messaging, and social media.
- Personalise content for digital customers wherever possible.
Audience Focus:
- Use analytics and data to prioritise the listener experience, promoting relevant content and experiences.
Technical Skills:
- Design and execute direct marketing campaigns.
- Advise junior internal Braze users on optimizing strategies and campaigns.
- Execute across platforms, primarily including Braze and Audience (Aptivada).
- Ensure 100% compliance with NZ anti-spam & privacy laws and excellence in email deliverability.
ABOUT YOU:
- Tertiary-qualified with 3+ years’ experience in direct/digital marketing, content marketing, or digital media publishing.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms preferred.
- Data-driven and digitally savvy with familiarity with HTML and analytics suites like GA.
- Proven experience managing and growing audiences using digital platforms.
- Excellent attention to detail, project management, and organisational skills.
- Ability to analyse data and insights to create compelling content.
- Proven ability to communicate a brand story and distribute content across owned channels.
- Skilled in managing multiple projects and stakeholders with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to various audiences.
- Collaborative approach with radio brands and marketing colleagues to grow the audience.
- Agile and proactive in optimizing customer engagement strategies.
- Self-motivated, curious, and eager to grow your knowledge.
