We're recruiting for one of our fast-growing clients based in Mt Wellington. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join a dynamic team with evolving systems and processes.

In this role, you'll be responsible for both Accounts Receivable (60%) and Accounts Payable (40%), working at the heart of the finance function. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with high volumes, tight deadlines, and be confident in dealing with both internal stakeholders (like department heads) and external contacts (clients and suppliers).

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and reconcile a high volume of AR and AP transactions daily
  • Reconcile multi-page bank statements with hundreds of line items
  • Raise and process customer invoices in large volumes
  • Handle retention payments and follow-ups as required
  • Act as the main point of contact for finance-related queries
  • Liaise with department heads, suppliers, and customers to resolve discrepancies
  • Assist with month-end processes and reporting


About You

  • Proven experience in an Accounts Administrator role (AR & AP)
  • Experience in a high-volume finance environment
  • Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail
  • Confident communicator who can manage internal and external relationships
  • Proficient with accounting systems and Excel
  • Able to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment.
