We are looking for a superstar administrator to join our amazing team at Busy Bees Ashburton! In this key role, you will be the friendly face families and staff can rely on, supporting our Centre Manager and keeping everything running smoothly with your exceptional admin skills. If you are a multitasker who thrives in a lively, purpose-driven environment, this role is perfect for you! You will connect with families, support the team, and ensure everything is organised and running efficiently.

This part-time position offers 25 hours across Monday to Friday, with flexible hours to suit your lifestyle - perfect for those seeking school-friendly hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Face to face interactions with parents, children and visitors to the Centre
  • Maintenance of our childcare management system (Discover) - data entry, data audits, parent invoicing and payment receipts
  • Answering and directing telephone calls, timely, accurately and professionally
  • Daily and weekly reports and data collation as required by the Centre Manager
  • Supplying information to our Support Office in line with daily and weekly reporting requirements
  • Any other general admin-based tasks as required and requested


About You:

  • Outstanding customer service ability – warm, friendly, and welcoming!
  • Tech savvy – you will have excellent computer skills, proficient in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook in particular)
  • Exceptional organisational and administration skills with a fastidious eye for detail
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work with good problem solving ability
  • Flexibility, and a willingness to step in and support others as required
  • Experience with accounts, invoices and debts is advantageous
